Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the AmzDL browser extension and the AmzDL website. By installing the extension or creating an account, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use AmzDL.

1. What AmzDL is

AmzDL is a browser extension. When you open a product detail page you are already viewing, it reads the media that page displays — main images, variant images, A+ module images, 360° spin frames, customer photos, videos, and review text — and saves it to your own computer, organised into folders.

AmzDL runs in your browser, on pages you have opened yourself. It does not access accounts you are not signed in to, and it does not bypass any login, paywall, or technical access control.

2. Not affiliated with Amazon

AmzDL is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected to Amazon.com, Inc. or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates.

"Amazon" and related marks are the trademarks of their respective owners. We refer to them only to describe which websites AmzDL works with.

3. Your responsibility for what you download

This is the most important section of these terms. Please read it.

AmzDL is a tool that saves files to your computer. It does not grant you any rights in those files.

Images, videos, and text on a product page are generally protected by copyright, and may also be subject to trademark rights, and — in the case of customer photos and reviews — the rights of the individuals who created them.

You agree that:

• You are solely responsible for ensuring you hold the rights to, or have permission to use, any material you download with AmzDL, and for how you use it afterwards.
• You will not use AmzDL to infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights.
• You will comply with the terms of service of any website you use AmzDL on, and with all laws that apply to you.
• You will not use downloaded material to create listings that misrepresent a product's origin, or to pass off another party's goods or brand as your own.
• You will not use AmzDL to build or distribute a competing dataset, scraping service, or bulk redistribution of third-party media.

We do not review, approve, or monitor what you download, and we cannot advise you on whether a particular use is permitted. If you are unsure whether you may use a particular image or video, seek your own legal advice or obtain permission from the rights holder before using it.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from material you downloaded using AmzDL or from your breach of this section.

4. Accounts

Free features do not require an account. An account is needed only to unlock Pro.

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us at support@amzdl.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

You must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live, and you must not be barred from receiving our services under any applicable sanctions or export laws.

5. Pro plans and billing

Pro is offered on three plans: monthly, annual, and lifetime. Current prices are shown on our pricing page, and the exact amount and billing period are shown again at checkout before you pay.

Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as the Merchant of Record for every AmzDL transaction. Creem — not AmzDL — is the seller of record on your invoice. Creem collects payment, calculates and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT, and issues the invoice. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Creem's buyer terms. A charge for AmzDL may appear on your statement under Creem's name.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price for the same period until you cancel. We send a receipt for every charge.

You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing in your account, or from the billing portal linked in your receipt. Cancelling stops future charges; Pro remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Lifetime is a single payment. Nothing renews. Lifetime access continues, including updates, for as long as we offer AmzDL as a product. It is not a guarantee that AmzDL will be offered forever, and it does not survive the discontinuation of the product.

If we change our prices, the new price applies to renewals only after we have given you notice, and never to a period you have already paid for.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. Acceptable use of the service itself

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source of AmzDL, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
• Resell, sublicense, or share your Pro access with people outside your organisation.
• Circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, the limits that separate the free and Pro tiers.
• Interfere with our servers, or access them by any means other than the extension and website we provide.
• Use AmzDL to send spam, distribute malware, or carry out any unlawful activity.

7. Availability, and what we do not promise

AmzDL reads pages that we do not control and that change without notice. When a website changes its structure, parts of AmzDL may stop working until we update it.

AmzDL is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that AmzDL will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with any particular website at any particular time.

Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use AmzDL.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for all claims relating to AmzDL is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using AmzDL at any time and delete your account from your account settings. Deleting your account does not by itself entitle you to a refund; see the Refund Policy.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms — in particular section 3 or section 6 — or where we are required to do so by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why and give you an opportunity to put it right first. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund the unused portion of any prepaid period.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will give notice through the service or by email before it takes effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Continuing to use AmzDL after a change takes effect means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the AmzDL operator is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction whose law grants you mandatory consumer protections, nothing in these terms deprives you of those protections or of the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
